  1. Thanks for the video. On the other video of yours, some ppl. were commenting on your newer hair style and I guess this is your older hairstyle?

My trick for keeping my shoes looking new is by rotating the many pairs I have. Vs. having only 2 to 3 pairs and wearing the same shoes all the time,

I was one of the first ppl. in my city SF to start collecting sneakers in the mid 90s. Back then ppl. thought I was weird bc most of my shoes I had never wore and just collected, When lost once getting their Jordan’s couldn’t wait to wear it. So yeah, I was just ahead of my time,

Now I’m 61 years old, I want to work on my dress shoes, but since I started dressing up in the 80s when you could easily stand out with a unique pair nod shoes, now it’s harder bc most are going firvttt her e same classic style of shoes that just blend in with the many others. Yeah, you may have a pair that’s more quality, but by looks, the $400. show looks like when wearing like the $59.99 pair. So it’s a different ball game bc in the 80s and 90s, if you bought an expensive pair of shoes, you’ll hardly ever see anyone else with them. And they stood out and the details weren’t subtle. Like when I had these Versace leather espadrilles with blue and tan linen stripes on the side. Ppl. would look and made me feel I had the only pair in my city.

Maybe those more forward shoe styles are still going on and I’m stuck in the classic men’s shoe videos?

So back then if you were fashionable, you stayed away from the classics and went after the unique shoes like women still so today. But now it seems well dressed men, just want to look like other well dressed men and that individuality and being unique is no longer the trend.

  2. I think I’ve looked through your videos, but I can’t find where you talk about what socks wear with dress (leather) sneakers. If I missed it, I’m sorry.
