I totally agree, but $1500 to $10,000 a pair. Hard to swallow when you’re retired. Any other suggestions more reasonable with quality?
One thing I have learnt is that a quality pair of shoes, even if old but well cared for, carry the rest of your wardrobe even if it’s old and foxed.
But a quality wardrobe will be ruined if you have cheap, scruffy, shoes….
