barefoot shoes – unsponsored review

Unsponsored review on barefoot shoes!

I know there are different brands, but I tried to use the two different “types.”

One scene I had to cut: These can be extra jarring if you walk a lot on concrete (sidewalks etc). Some of them come with an extra insole to help cushion this.

*Unsponsored meaning I took zero money from these companies. I bought these shoes myself specifically for this review. To my knowledge, the companies don’t even know I exist.

I usually have a long, long description that pushes the character limits, but I’ll try a shorter one this time!

Have a beautiful day! #hybridcalisthenics #unsponsoredreviews #barefootshoes

I know there are different brands, but I tried to use the two different “types.”

One scene I had to cut: These can be extra jarring if you walk a lot on concrete (sidewalks etc). Some of them come with an extra insole to help cushion this.

Someone asked me to clarify my conclusion on “which is better and are they worth it?”

That’s totally fair and I’ll paste my response below!

I made it more subtle because the answer is that it “depends on the person.” I would get the sneaker-looking ones if you want the barefoot feel without really looking that way. I’d get the shoe glove ones if you like the idea of shoe gloves and the fashion statement that comes with it. As for the second part, I think they’re worth trying at least once, but there are DEFINITELY going to be some people who dislike them and others who love them. We usually don’t stick with shoes forever, so my opinion is that trying them once can really let the individual know if these work for them. Otherwise, there’s nothing in a review that can really replace that. Hope that makes sense!

The downside of these Reels and Shorts is that sometimes I’d like to elaborate more – sorry for any confusion!

Xeros seems way bet- *looks at price* hey never mind i’ll just stick to actual barefeet… and crocs…i actually really like my Tivas for walking (walking shoes are usually more like solid clogs) but they’re at least 4x more expensive now than when i got them. =(

I was barefoot most of my young life. Then I was a landscape gardener for many years. My feet do not deal well confined to ‘sturdy’ shoes on flat surfaces. I need a beach job….
